BDL MT 2025 Vacancy

BDL has announced a total of 80 vacancies for Management Trainee posts. These vacancies are for nine different disciplines. BDL MT 2025 Eligibility

For Finance Discipline:

Candidates can qualify in three ways. First option is passing the Final Exam of ICAI (Chartered Accountants). Second option is passing the Final Exam of ICWAI/CMA (Cost Accountants). Third option is First Class MBA or PG Diploma in Finance for 2 years. The qualification must be from a recognized university or institute.

For Human Resources Discipline:

Candidates need First Class MBA or PG Diploma or PG Degree in HR. The program must be for 2 years. Accepted specializations include HR, Personnel Management, Industrial Relations, Social Science, Social Welfare, or Social Work. The qualification must be from a recognized university or institute.

Age Limit

The age limit is calculated as on 25th November 2025. For most disciplines, the maximum age is 27 years for UR and EWS candidates. OBC candidates get relaxation up to 30 years. SC candidates get relaxation up to 32 years. ST candidates get relaxation up to 32 years for most posts.

For Finance with CA/CMA qualification, the maximum age is 28 years for UR/EWS. Age relaxation for other categories follows the same pattern. Internal BDL candidates get age relaxation up to 55 years. Ex-servicemen get age relaxation as per government rules. The minimum age is not mentioned in the notification.

BDL MT 2025 Selection Process

The selection process has two stages for all disciplines. First stage is Computer Based Online Test. Second stage is Personal Interview. Both stages are important for final selection. Candidates must clear each stage to move forward. The selection is based on combined performance in both stages.

The written exam carries 85% weightage in final selection. The interview carries 15% weightage in final selection. The Computer Based Online Test tests technical knowledge and general aptitude. Candidates who pass the written exam will be called for interview. After the interview, candidates must appear for document verification. Final selection depends on total marks from exam and interview combined.

Selected candidates undergo medical examination before final appointment. They join as Management Trainees for one year training. During training, they receive stipend and allowances. BDL MT Exam Pattern 2025

The exam has two parts – Part 1 and Part 2. Part 1 covers the concerned subject or discipline. Part 2 covers General Aptitude. The exam is Computer Based Online Test format. Each question carries 1 mark. There is negative marking for wrong answers. For each wrong answer, 0.25 marks will be deducted.

Part 1 has 100 questions on technical subjects. These questions test your knowledge in your discipline. For engineering posts, questions come from your engineering stream. For finance posts, questions come from finance and accounting. For HR posts, questions come from human resources topics. Part 2 has 50 questions on General Aptitude.

BDL MT Salary 2025

The salary for BDL Management Trainee is very attractive. During the training period, candidates get Rs. 40,000 as basic pay. They also get Dearness Allowance at current rates. House Rent Allowance is provided based on basic pay. Candidates also get 20% of basic pay as perks and allowances. The training period lasts for one year.

After successful training, candidates become Assistant Managers in Grade II. The pay scale is Rs. 40,000 to Rs. 1,40,000 with 3% annual increment. The approximate annual CTC after absorption is Rs. 15.55 lakh per annum. This includes basic pay, allowances, provident fund, gratuity, medical benefits, pension, and performance-related pay.

During training, the total stipend is around Rs. 60,000 to Rs. 65,000 per month. This includes basic pay, DA, HRA, and perks. After absorption, the in-hand salary is higher with all benefits. Employees get PF contribution from both employee and employer. Medical facilities are provided for employee and family. Retirement benefits include pension and gratuity.
